How to activate A1 Brezžični net

1. Open the modem and insert the SIM card

Unscrew the modem, insert the SIM card and plug it into power.

2. Put the modem at a suitable location

Place the modem on a window sill, where the signal is the strongest. You can check signal strength using the AI Link app.

3. Use your WiFi password and connect your devices

Connect your devices to the modem and begin using internet. You can find the WiFi password on the back side of the modem. You can also opt to connect your computer to the router using an Ethernet cable.

Modem for browsing and entertainment

The A1 Brezžični net comes with the Soyealink B535-232a modem:

  • up to 64 users can connect to the device at the same time,
  • it has an internal antenna, but can also connect to external antenna,
  • it supports browsing using the high-speed 4G network, and with cutting-edge network technologies (AC-WLAN, wireless LAN and CAT7+ mobile network connection) easily provides high-speed internet for all of your home devices, wirelessly or over an Ethernet cable.

The device is sold under the Soyealink brand, but comes with Huawei software and a Huawei warranty.

With no lock-in the modem costs €79, and with a 2-year subscriber agreement, the price comes down just to €1. After the contract expires, the modem is yours to keep.

Unlimited data allowance with the Neomejeni (Unlimited) option.

A1 Brezžični net comes with 200 GB data allowance for €19.99/month. Once you exceed the allowance, data speed is capped at 2/1 Mbps. However, you can opt for the Neomejeni (Unlimited) option for €3.99/month, giving you truly unlimited data transfer.

How can I activate the Neomejeni option?

Register in the free Moj A1 app as a user of mobile services:

  1. Enter your A1 Domači net mobile number in the “Telefonska številka” (Telephone number) field.
  2. Enter the PUK code of your A1 Domači net mobile number.
  3. Enter your selected user name, password and e-mail address.
After registering, go to the menu and under “Opcije” (Options) ▸ "Druge opcije" (Other options) activate the “Neomejeni” option.

Users with older A1 Domači net 2 or 3 plans can activate the Neomejeni option in Moj A1.
New users of A1 Brezžični net can also activate it when purchasing their plan at any point of sale, or by calling to 040 40 40 40.

Higher speeds with the LTE option

A1 Brezžični net comes with speeds of up to 20/5 Mbps for €19.99/month, which is sufficient for watching high-definition content. If you want higher speeds of up to 40/5 Mbps, you can activate the LTE internet option with up to 40/5 Mbps speeds for additional €5/month.

  • How to get the best signal for your modem?

    For the best signal the modem must be installed in the part of your home that is the closest to the base station. Therefore, do not hide the modem into a corner, as the signal weakens in remote corners. Also do not place it next to internal walls, as brick/stone/concrete can reduce radio wave strength. Do not place the modem in the kitchen, as it is generally filled with metal objects and devices that can cause signal interference.

    Place the modem at a higher, central location in your home. If you have a large apartment or a house with many walls, we recommend you also purchase a signal booster that can provide better coverage.

    You can also check for optimum signal with the AI Link app (Google Play, AppStore), which shows the modem’s signal strength at every location.

  • Special terms and conditions

    The A1 Brezžični net (A1 Wireless net) plan is available to all new subscribers and existing subscribers of A1 Slovenija (in accordance with the Agreement on providing a special benefit if one is active). The condition for obtaining the plan is the availability of network capacities. All plans include access to LTE technology. Actual speed depends on the network conditions and the current occupation of the base station. After using up the 200 GB allowance within a billing period on the A1 Brezžični net plan, the data transfer speed is capped at 2/1 Mbps. When concluding a subscriber agreement, the user undertakes to use the A1 Brezžični net service at the address they listed when concluding the agreement. Otherwise, A1 reserves the right to disconnect the service.
