Addressing the dissemination of terrorist content online

Contact point:

In accordance with Article 15 of Regulation (EU) 2021/784 on addressing the dissemination of terrorist content online (hereinafter: the Regulation), A1 Slovenija designates the following contact point for the electronic receipt of removal orders concerning hosting services: otsv@a1.si.

Communication with the contact point is available in Slovenian and English.

Handling the dissemination of terrorist content:

Where A1 Slovenija, in its capacity as a hosting service provider, removes or disables access to terrorist content based on a removal order issued by a competent authority, it shall inform the content provider of such removal or disabling of access. Such information shall not be provided where the competent authority issuing the removal order has decided not to disclose the reasons on grounds of public security.

A1 Slovenija shall, in its capacity as a hosting service provider, enable all content providers whose content has been removed or access to it has been disabled due to specific measures pursuant to Article 5 of the Regulation to submit a complaint regarding such removal or disabling of access and to request the reinstatement of the content or access thereto, provided that A1 Slovenija has been designated by the competent authority as a hosting service provider exposed to terrorist content, as defined in Article 5(4) of the Regulation.

The content provider may submit the complaint to the designated contact point: otsv@a1.si.

The complaint must be sufficiently precise and adequately substantiated in order to be processed. It shall include at least the following information:
-    the name, surname, and email address of the complainant;
-    a clear indication of the exact electronic location (such as a specific URL or URLs) where the content was made available, and any additional information necessary to identify the specific content that is the subject of the complaint;
-    a duly reasoned explanation of the grounds for the complaint;
-    a declaration confirming that the complainant genuinely believes, in good faith, that the information and statements contained in the complaint are accurate and complete.

Complaints will be assessed with due diligence. The complainant will be informed of the decision without undue delay. Where the removal or disabling of access is found to have been unjustified, the content or access thereto shall be reinstated. Where the complaint is rejected, the complainant will be provided with the reasons for the decision.
